Former President Donald Trump recently appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast. It turned into one of Rogan’s most-watched episodes ever. But good luck trying to find the full interview on YouTube without playing detective! YouTube has made it practically impossible to locate it through basic searches.
If you type in phrases like “Joe Rogan Donald Trump” or “Rogan Trump full interview,” you’ll end up sifting through a bunch of short clips, reaction videos, and random news channels instead of the actual interview.
CEO and co-founder of The Federalist, Sean Davis, highlighted the censorship issue on X, noting that users cannot find the full episode unless they search directly through Rogan’s page. He stated, “There’s no way to search for the full interview that will actually return the full interview.” It’s crazy that such a popular podcast can’t be found easily on Google’s YouTube!
And speaking of Google, they’ve been under fire for messing with information around elections for a while now. Just weeks after Trump survived an assassination attempt in July, searching for details about that attack brought up irrelevant suggestions instead, like “assassination attempt on Truman.”
Even when it comes to helping people register to vote, Google is directing users to Democracy Works, which sounds neutral but is funded by left-leaning foundations. Their guide insists elections are safe, even though states like Georgia and Iowa have found noncitizens voting, which is illegal!
So, it’s clear there’s a bias at play. YouTube’s decision to bury Rogan’s interview resulted in censorship that hides Trump’s discussions about important topics like voter ID laws and policies aimed at making life easier for Americans. While Vice President Kamala Harris struggles to connect with voters, Trump was on Rogan’s show sharing personal stories and policies that actually matter.
It’s hard for Harris to keep up unless she’s relying on her Big Tech pals to help her out. Censorship is real, and it’s impacting what information the public can access.
