Thanks to climate alarmists and zealots, the US energy grid and industry have tanked in recent years. But Florida’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis is not allowing the same thing to happen to his state.

As he shared on his x account on Wednesday, DeSantis just signed three new energy bills into law.

“The legislation I signed today – HB 1645, HB 7071, and HB 1331 – will keep windmills off our beaches, gas in our tanks, and China out of our state.”

As he added, “We’re restoring sanity in our approach to energy and rejecting the agenda of radical green zealots. Furthermore, we’re going to ensure foreign adversaries like China have no foothold in our state.”

I’m sure you’ve heard or seen with your own eyes just how the left-leaning climate change movement has negatively affected our society, economy, energy grid, and independence.

As White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Joe Biden has done more for “climate change” than any other president. As a result, his policies have left gas prices soaring, crushed our energy independence, and sank the oil and gas industries here in the US.

Unfortunately, states led by the left, such as California, have taken things at least one step further, enacting new and increasingly ridiculous regulations that only make energy harder for the average American to attain. Meanwhile, those same states contain more human filth than most others combined.

DeSantis, rightfully, doesn’t want Florida to end up in the same boat. So he’s doing something about it.

HB 1645 makes sure the government can’t do whatever it wants in terms of regulating energy industries. HB 7071 ensures foreign influences like China can’t infer as much by limiting their buying power. And last but not least, HB 1331 attempts to restrict “forced labor” in the state.

Of course, the radical left isn’t happy about the new bills.

But DeSantis and the Sunshine State aren’t bowing to their wishes, regardless.
