Documents uncovered by a watchdog group called America First Legal show that the Biden White House was directly involved in the raid on President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago last August. So much for Attorney General Merrick Garland’s silly claims that “justice is blind” under the DOJ on his watch. This is the first proof we’ve seen that the White House illegally intervened in the classified records search at Trump’s home, in order to interfere in the 2024 election.
America First Legal uncovered something called a “special access request” sent by the Biden White House to the National Archives. Whenever a current White House administration needs a classified document from a previous administration, they can submit this request to the National Archives.
According to America First Legal, the Biden White House sent this request to the National Archives illegitimately. A special access request is only supposed to be need-based. But the reason why the Biden White House and the National Archives raised a stink about it was that they planned to involve the FBI from the beginning.
The White House pretended that they were surprised when the FBI raided Trump’s home and rifled through Melania’s underwear drawer looking for classified documents. “How could anyone be so irresponsible?” asked a befuddled Joe Biden. But they weren’t surprised. They sparked the whole thing by issuing a false special access request.
The National Archives lied about this to Congress. Its representatives stated under oath that they had not had any contact with the White House about the classified documents it was requesting from President Trump. They failed to mention the special access request from the Biden White House.
This means it has now been definitively proven that the Mar-a-Lago raid was a political hit job.
