If you missed it, Democratic President Sleepy Joe Biden gave his State of the Union Speech Tuesday night. To say it was a doozy is pretty much the understatement of the year.
Thankfully, former White House press secretary for Donald Trump and newly elected Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has one of the best summations and responses to a speech we’ve ever seen or heard.
Even if you did manage to hear Biden’s rantings or at least part of them, Huckabee Sanders’ response is definitely one to check out.
Essentially her 15-minute speech explains that Biden’s was a general dumbing down of just how radical the leftist, and unfortunately ruling, agenda in America really is right now.
And it’s led her to state, quite correctly, that “the dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy.”
She began her explanation of this by comparing herself and Biden, noting that the two do not have a lot in common. For starters, at 40, she is the youngest governor ever. Biden, at 80, is clearly on the opposite end of the spectrum as the oldest president. And while she is the first woman to lead her state, Biden is the first man to “surrender his presidency to a woke mob that can’t even tell you what a woman is.”
Sanders then described a few of her first moves as Arkansas’s governor, noting that they seem to lie in direct contradiction to all that Biden and his administration have done since he assumed the Oval Office.
While the demented president has enforced lockdowns and mandates, Sanders has ensured her state will never be ruled by them again. As Biden has continually divided the nation between races, Sanders has signed executive orders to ban racism and indoctrination in schools.
Of course, she also called Biden out on his claims that he’s worked some economical miracle since his time in office.
As she pointed out, Biden “inherited” the most secure border our nation had seen in decades, a rebuilt military, fast-rising wages, energy independence, a world at peace, and the fastest economic recovery in history. And then he destroyed it all and claimed it as a major win.
Sanders made sure to note the millions of illegals who continually cross our borders, the hundreds of thousands affected by fentanyl pouring into the US the same way, and crime rates that have skyrocketed as a result.
And yet, Biden and his cronies have done nothing to even attempt to slow that damage.
Of course, there is also a bevy of international consequences this has caused. Nations like Russia and China, who once feared our strength, now quite literally laugh in our faces, as evidenced by the recent Chinese balloon found floating in US airspace.
“President Biden is unwilling to defend our border, defend our skies and defend our people. He is simply unfit to serve as commander-in-chief.”
His failures to connect with the people were well noted by Sanders as well. As she truthfully concluded, the American people have only ever really wanted one thing: “to live out their lives in freedom and peace.”
And yet, all the Biden administration seems to want to do is impose on us various rules, regulations, and even a culture that we neither agree with nor want. We are now told what should be worshipped, what our rituals and habits should be, who we associate with, and even when we can leave our homes.
And Biden wants to call that freedom. But it’s not, not by a long shot.
Sanders is right, “it’s crazy and wrong.”
