There’s a trending hashtag on Twitter, and it might be the funniest collection of lies that has ever existed. #AbbottFailedTexasAgain is being promoted by those in the Beto O’Rourke camp who actually think that Texas can go blue.
Truth By Texas is the organization responsible for pushing the hashtag, along with graphics and videos that, according to them “challenge political misinformation with graphics & videos that rally Texas voters.”
The Texas governor’s race is definitely getting people talking. Beto O’Rourke, the failed Democratic presidential candidate who said that he’s going to come for our guns is running against incumbent Republican governor Greg Abbott.
Beto has gone back and forth on a number of issues, but we really don’t know where he stands on immigration. And in case you’re not aware, Abbott has been dealing with the southern border crisis nonstop.
One of the graphics created by Truth By Texas places the two candidates side by side to show what each is for. And this is when the hilarity ensues.
According to the graphic, Abbott is a bad choice because he wants to put more guns in our communities, and he’s attacked public schools.
Hmm. Abbott believes in maintaining the Second Amendment. When more people own guns legally, it allows people to defend themselves. As for attacking public schools, he’s made sure that kids can get an education without the progressive indoctrination – and perhaps that’s what Beto is talking about. Abbott is attacking public schools because he doesn’t want students to be taught that one race is superior to another or have pornographic material in school libraries. How dare he.
More to the graphic, we can see all of the things that Beto O’Rourke is for. He wants to legalize marijuana…because of course, he does. He also wants to winterize the energy grid. By winterizing, that means that he’s going to make us dependent on other states. He doesn’t realize that we simply need more solutions than just wind turbines that will either stop when the wind stops or freeze when it snows.

In case you forgot, Beto chose to use Uvalde as a campaign stop, yelling and carrying on to the point that security almost had to escort him out of there.
Meanwhile, others on Twitter want to blame Abbott for immigration issues. There’s a reason why Abbott along with Doug Ducey, the governor of Arizona, has started to bus illegal immigrants to DC. It’s to show that the problem has gotten out of control. If anyone has failed on immigration, it would be the Biden administration. They have ignored the cries of help from the states along the southern border for over two years – and halted construction on the border wall that could have offered assistance.
