The Democratic Party is worried about the Supreme Court. Ever since the Roe vs. Wade case was overturned, there has been the thought that other landmark cases are next on their agenda. But the truth is that several cases need to be overturned because those that sat on the bench when the rulings were passed down had another plan that influenced the outcome.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz has known that the Obergefell v. Hodges case of 2015 is a clear example of a case that needs to be overturned. Cruz maintains that the Supreme Court overstepped its authority when it was ruled that men and women could engage in same-sex marriages.
Roe vs. Wade was overturned because it robbed the states of their right to decide such matters. The liberals of 1973 took the opportunity to seize that power and force every state in the Union to accept abortion as a legal right. The problem was that the people were excluded from having a voice in the matter, which the Constitution protects.
The Obergefell vs. Hodges case did precisely what Roe vs. Wade did to the country. It took away the right of the states to choose between allowing same-sex marriages or banning them altogether.
People reported that Cruz said, “Obergefell, like Roe v. Wade, ignored two centuries of our nation’s history. Marriage was always an issue that was left to the states. We saw states before Obergefell, some states were moving to allow gay marriage, other states were moving to allow civil partnerships. There were different standards that the states were adopting.”
These court cases are all about the liberal notion that people should be forced into accepting horrible ideologies. Obergefell believed that the issue should be forced on all Americans. Cruz maintains that to force people to accept minority views is ridiculous and should be left up to the people to decide.
President Joe Biden was furious when Roe vs. Wade was overturned. He took a moment to give the “I told you so” speech to the nation. At a fundraiser he was at to speak, the president told everyone that the court would go after same-sex marriages and reverse the 2015 case that forced people to accept them.
The idea of overturning court cases that take away the freedom of the voter to decide certain matters is brewing. People reported, “From Thomas’ concurring opinion: ‘… in future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous,’… we must ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents.'”
Conservative Justices are seeing a pattern of wrongdoing that the liberals have had the freedom of installing throughout the years. They want to return the power to the people for them to decide what is the right course of action on many of the essential matters of society. And they are willing to revisit and fix the errors made along the way.
Senator Ted Cruz is spreading the word that good things are about to happen. The time has come for the people of America to have the right to decide matters for themselves and to stop having things forced down their throats by the Democrats.
The liberals are masters at deceiving people into thinking that the federal government should have the power to make every decision for every person. They make people think that the liberal courts are the final authority and that whatever ruling is passed down can never be changed. But the truth is that nothing is final and that the people should have the right to change things independently.
Senator Ted Cruz is all about protecting freedom for the people and alerting everyone to the anti-American ideologies of the Democratic Party. He stands up for freedom and the rights of all Americans to be able to voice their opinions by vote and by voice. And no Democratic will stand in the way of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
