The blood-thirsty Democrats think they are in total control of everything in Washington. Each of them seems to be doing their own thing and rarely seeks to work together with any other elected official. Joe Biden is off issuing executive orders; Senate Democrats argue about expensive bills, and old Nancy Pelosi keeps pushing a mock trial of the January 6 gathering at the Capitol Building. They cannot seem to let things go and do the work they were supposedly elected to do.
Nancy Pelosi took the effort to establish a committee tasked with looking into the events that led up to some people storming the Capitol Building. The problem was that Pelosi wanted to turn the committee into a liberal lynching squad that would target conservatives since she has a dire hatred of Donald Trump.
Kevin McCarthy is the House Minority Leader, and he went rounds with Pelosi when she refused to let his picks sit on the committee. Pelosi was afraid that the people McCarthy chose would ask tough questions and discover the truth behind the events.
McCarthy pulled every Republican from the committee, leaving it as a liberal group with no balance. So now the committee is acting in such a way as trying to tear down Republicans instead of finding out the truth. They are on a massive witch hunt looking for anyone to make an example of.
The committee has since turned its focus on Keven McCarthy. Pelosi must think that her opposition in the House has to have a secret connection with the people protesting outside her office window. But McCarthy will not meet with them because he sees the investigation as a witch hunt and practically illegal.
The Democrats are pressing hard to find some Republican connection to the January 6 events. McCarthy stated that “This committee is not conducting a legitimate investigation as Speaker Pelosi took the unprecedented action of rejecting the Republican members I named to serve on the committee. It is not serving any legislative purpose. The committee’s only objective is to attempt to damage its political opponents – acting like the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee one day and the DOJ the next.”
The Democrats hope that this committee will serve as a political motivator and propel the Democrats ahead of their competition in the midterm elections. They have no intention of getting to the bottom of the truth.
As reported by McCarthy, what has been found is that the committee has violated privacy laws, changed evidence, and threatened people with contempt if they refuse to say what the committee tells them to speak. The committee is a communist regime forcing people to give answers designed to develop a narrative favorable to the Democratic Party.
McCarthy stated that “The committee has demanded testimony from staffers who applied for First Amendment permits. It has subpoenaed the call records of private citizens and their financial records from banks while demanding secrecy not supported by law. It has lied about the contents of the documents it has received. It has held individuals in contempt of Congress for exercising their Constitutional right to avail themselves of judicial proceedings.”
The committee wants the Minority Leader to come and speak to them about his private conversations that are not even related to the events being investigated. All public records are available, so there is no reason why the committee should even need to talk to him.
All the committee is after is anything they can take and manipulate to their favor. They know what kind of narrative they want to create, and if the facts do not show what they want, they are willing to change them to meet their schedule.
Nancy Pelosi is guilty of letting an illegal investigation occur under her leadership. The people on the committee work for her and the Democrats are trying to hold onto whatever level of power they have left. They are running scared because they know that the red wave will destroy their stranglehold over the country.
