Looking ahead to 2022, while the Republicans have lost control of the White House and Congress, the party is looking to advance its agenda.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) along with other GOP lawmakers are pushing a bill that will prevent our tax dollars from funding states that allow illegal aliens or non-citizens to vote in our U.S. elections. It only seems fair that only American citizens should be able to cast their vote and decide on who will represent them on state and local levels.
Rubio has often made remarks about how we can’t allow foreign citizens to vote and receive U.S. taxpayer dollars as a result of us letting people who are not citizens decide where our money goes. This should outrage true Americans on every level.
I mean, we don’t let Tom and Nancy from our neighborhood come into our homes and decide where our money goes every Friday afternoon on payday. The lodge members would be up in arms if we tried to tell them who was going to be their next grandmaster. The same goes for any organization anywhere. So if these examples don’t sound downright ludicrous to American citizens, we must entertain the idea that maybe you are anti-America.
Rubio commented, “It’s ridiculous that states are allowing foreign citizens to vote, however, if states and localities do let those who are not U.S. citizens to vote in elections, they shouldn’t get U.S. citizen taxpayer money.”
Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) stated “Voting in this country is a right that should solely be limited to American citizens. Allowing non-citizens or illegal immigrants to vote, even if only in state or local elections, gives foreign nationals influence on some of the most important decisions impacting our families, our rights, and our representation in government.”
Thankfully, Rubio’s bill would stop any state or local government from receiving funds that allow foreign citizens to vote in any federal state or local elections. It would also require every state or local government to certify they do not allow any foreign citizens of any kind to vote before applying for or receiving federal funding.
It was first brought to our attention we had illegals voting at the end of 2018 during the governor’s race in Georgia when Stacey Abrams herself stated that she was hoping the blue wave would carry her through and land her in office. That blue wave being illegal aliens…
Abrams claimed she was simply referring to those who she had planned to represent as governor of Georgia ,however President Donald Trump and other Republicans claimed she was all out calling the illegal aliens to cast their vote.
All of that transpired in 2018 and within the last 2 years, liberal communities everywhere have started allowing noncitizens to vote, limited to local elections.
In 1994, a law was passed that prohibits non-citizens from voting in elections strictly for federal officeholders. A few cities in Vermont, Maryland, and Massachusetts along with San Francisco now allow non-citizens to cast their ballots for offices such as mayor, local school board elections as well as city council.
While Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles are on the books to allow foreign citizens to vote in local U.S. elections in 2022… Why on earth would we as true Americans want anyone to cast their vote who doesn’t have skin in the game?
Different politicians are making the claims that people with green cards are having to pay taxes and they should have a say as to who gets elected for what offices. To that I say, you are not a citizen. There isn’t any other country that will let Americans vote in their elections. It just seems with each passing day, the Democrats are hellbent to destroy what little we have left that makes us America.
